Imagine a Formula 3 car speeding through a circuit and the driver engaged in breaking every record. To be sure to certify its performance in the best way, it is essential to trace the lap time with an accuracy to the hundredth of a second.
We were able to respond to this need by exploiting the precision of GPS and combining an 868 tag with a software developed specifically for this purpose. With this solution you can set the coordinates of one or more goals, selecting them directly on Google Maps: every time the car passes from the established goal, the time is detected and sent by radio from the 868 transmitter to a server.
The accuracy of the data reach very high levels, but it also makes it possible to monitor intertempo. In addition, the tag ensures the reduction of costs and infrastructure: the device is light and easy to carry and can be installed easily in each circuit.
